Get Up Series

These boards have been developed to make sport and leisure surfing easier, in small to medium size waves. They do not demand a full physical commitment or high-level techniques and are a good introduction to the sport in enjoyable and enthusing conditions.

The 7’8″: retro Fish !

A very reactive board in small and middle-size waves! We have developed a 100% SUP Fish-board. With its inversed tail section, curves can be slashed at any time, ex- actly as if there was a strong « kick » in the shape, but without any harm to board’s speed.

The 7’8 rather low volume (130L) has the maximum carrying power forward. This does require mastering basic paddling techniques and getting in the right place, at the peak, for a Take-Off.
Fitted this year with 16cm twin-fins, the 7’8 pivots extremely well. An explosive board in smaller waves, it will suit lower weight riders.

Shape specifics: Outline: retro-fish, inversed tail outline. Fish tail: adds width aft while decreasing power. Rails: rounded along the full length. Scoop: hardly rockered to retain maximal speed ability on a short length. Bottom: slight V + flat Length 238cm, Width 75cm, Thickness 12cm, Weight 8.5kg, Twin fins (2x16cm).

The 8’6″: a versatile efficient shape!

The volume spread is perfectly balanced and shall guarantee a very good stability at rest. Easy to paddle, this 8’6 becomes lively from the first little wave, while remaining user-friendly. This is this board’s strong point: it turns easily, even for a beginner !

This 8’6 is the ideal board for a lighter rider who is looking for his first true surfing sensations, but will also please any good rider looking for an easy board which is lively in the surf in all wave conditions.

Shape specifics: Outline: straightened, minimal curve, to maximize stability by keeping a significant width all along the board. Swallow tail: allows a wide board, to maintain both stability in curves and a neat foot-pressure, with excellent pivoting to maximize maneuverability. Rails: voluminous and rounded on the whole length, thinner in the tail. Scoop: balanced and rockered aft (kick). Bottom: slight and hollowed V, increasing in the aft kick, and with a spoon forward.

Available colors :  Yellow  / wood

The 9’6”: first and foremost a versatile shape!

This innovative shape comes from a full re-thinking of SUPing standards. No need anymore of heavy and voluminous boards, when a 9’6 can be more stable and livelier at the same time ! The 9’6 volume repartition is perfectly balanced and guarantees a very good stability when standing still.

Its bottom shape features a slight hollowed vee, which is increased at the aft kick, and a spoon forward. Rails are quite voluminous on their full length. This is an easy-to-row board, with a rather good -even if lower than that of the 10’6 -directional stability.

The Nah-Skwell 9’6 gets lively from the first small wave, while remaining an easy board all along. That’s this board’s strong point: it turns easily and is light under the feet, even for a beginner ! A good rider shall discover a performing shape, sharp turns capable, and which will allow any long-board trick. Fast and manoeuvrable in the waves, it’s a tri-fins board. Despite offering a stable glide on flat water, this is not a « performance » long distance board, due to its rather curved rocker.

This Allround 9’6 board, will fit a beginner looking for his first true surfing sensations, as well as an excellent rider looking for a board which delivers in any surfing conditions.

Available colors :  Yellow  / wood

The 10’6″ : Nose Rider stroller…

The Nah-Skwell 10’6 has a straightened outline forward and a significantly pinched tail
It gives this board a good directional stability (you know: preventing that « row-effect »). The board goes in a straight line, without too many side changes for the paddle. Like on any Nah-Skwell board there is a recessed handle in the board for transport convenience.

Voluminous and rounded on the forward 2/3rd, the 10’6 rails end up very thin aft, to enhance manoeuvrability in the surf. This is a stable and friendly board, when surfing, which shall bring you much fun in the waves.Thickness has been carefully balanced along the board, which gives the Nah-Skwell 9’6 a good stability despite having a lower volume than the current mainstream boards.

The 10’6 rider will thus enjoy a lighter board (11kg with fin) that reacts in a much livelier way to foot-pressure.Fitted with a 27cm fin, this is a playful and easy board, which glides extremely well when strolling around or surfing waves the « classical », « cool » or « old style » way.

Its shape is slightly veed and hollowed along the whole scoop-line; this Vee is increased at the aft kick level to increase manoeuvrability, while a spoon has been added forward to help nose-riding.
